Author guidelines

Requirements for preparing and submitting research, drawn from the journal’s published author guidelines.

Originality and subject relevance

Research must not have been published previously. Contributions to special issues must address the issue’s proposed theme. Consult the journal’s scope before submission.

Title, abstracts and keywords

The guidelines request an Arabic abstract, or a French abstract for French-language articles, and an English abstract, each under 400 words.

Titles, abstracts and keywords are provided in Arabic, or French for French-language articles, and English. Author names are written in Latin characters.

Length and formatting

Articles should be 10–30 pages, with 1.15 line spacing. Arabic body text uses Traditional Arabic, size 14; French body text uses Times New Roman, size 12.

The document specifies Traditional Arabic, size 11, for footnotes, including foreign-language footnotes, with automatic numbering at the foot of each page. Use numerals 1, 2, 3… throughout.

Title page and references

The title page contains the research title, the author’s name and affiliation. Footnotes appear at the foot of each page, and the reference list is placed at the end of the article.

Submission and decision

Research must be submitted to the journal’s scientific committee. The guidelines state that unsuccessful submissions are not returned and that published contributions express their authors’ views.

The document does not specify a mandatory submission file format, a separate template or formatting specific to English-language articles. Contact the journal about these details.

Fees after acceptance

The guidelines mention nominal reviewing and publication fees after acceptance, without stating an amount, currency or waiver arrangements. Ask the journal for details before committing to payment.
